1. Introduction
Welcome to Todolu (“the App”), operated by an individual developer under the name Todolu Technologies (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Todolu is a personal productivity application that helps you manage tasks, lists, notes, calendar planning, focus sessions, reminders, and related features. Some features are available without an account; others require optional sign-in or a paid subscription.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the App. The App is rated 3+ on Google Play and is intended for general audiences. If you are under the age required to consent in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
4. Accounts
Sign-in with Google or phone number is optional. When you sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the lists, tasks, notes, and other content you create in the App (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content. By using cloud or sync features you authorize us to store and process Your Content only as needed to provide the App.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the App or its infrastructure.
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Abuse sign-in, sync, notification, or subscription systems.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
7. Google Sign-In and Drive Sync
If you choose to sign in with Google or use Sync with Google Drive, your use is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. Drive sync stores a backup of Your Content in a private application folder in your Google account. You can stop syncing by signing out or revoking Todolu’s access in your Google Account settings.
8. Subscriptions (Todolu Pro)
Some features may require a paid subscription (“Todolu Pro”). Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, as applicable. Subscription pricing, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the store’s policies. We do not handle payment card details directly.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Todolu Technologies or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks except as needed to use the App in the ordinary course.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups where important.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Todolu Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App or subscriptions in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) if you have not paid anything.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the App or your access if required by law, for security reasons, or if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date and, where required, provide notice of material changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
